Display lighting
The Illustrated Guide to Electrical Building Services, Third Edition (BG 32/2014), by David Bleicher & Peter Tse, published by BSRIA in 2014, states; ‘Display lighting luminaires are generally adjustable, for providing local emphasis. They are often mounted on a track. A variety of lamp types can be incorporated.’
BG 87/2024, Useful Information Guide, written by Chin Hang “Kay” Lam and published by BSRIA in 2024, defines display lighting as: ‘Lighting to highlight displays of exhibits or merchandise, or lighting used in spaces for public leisure and entertainment, such as dance halls, auditoria, conference halls, restaurants and cinemas.’
